In the middle of the bridge area, an opening in the rails that are usually at eye level on either side allows for views down to the river below. The concrete bays of the structural elements create a condition where it is impossible to see into the adjoining bays. I’d like to take advantage of this condition to feature a series of painted plywood pieces that tell a story as one walks along this special part of the bridge. For an example, I featured the classic story of Romeo and Juliet in 6 panels.
