Caveman Diorama

This man made space seems to be breaking down and transforming into a cave with natural stalactites and stalagmites found throughout the site.

What if the installation wasn't literally of prehistoric cavemen, but used the cave setting to display technologies/objects that we currently use that will conceivably be thought of as outdated in the future?  Maybe a hummer being driven through a fast-food restaurant or a suburban home or something else you think could fit this category. The museum display concept could be played up with a description board attached to a stand in front of the diorama. Or maybe you could make cave-like drawings with chalk inside the display representing these out of date products.

I LOVE the image of a Hummer through a McDonalds drive-thru! Some other images that showcase non-sustainable lifestyle that'll become obsolete in the near future could make this a very humorous and interesting exhibit. Plus the finish of the reliefs/sculptures could be more on the lines of the ancient Indian temple carvings, so it adds an interesting contrast.

The reliefs could be made with foamcore sprayed with sand/concrete texture paint; as if they've emerged out of the 'cave' walls.
