Old-Fashioned Carnival

Our vision for the Detroit-Superior Bridge is one where everyone can have fun, enjoy the good old days and be safe. That's why we believe putting an old-fashioned carnival inside the bridge would be the best way to get people to come and enjoy what the bridge has to offer.

As there are two groups who'd like to see a carnival happen on the bridge, you can join forces to create one good project. Next step is to figure out exactly what these carnival games would be and what raw materials you need to make it happen. For example if you want a juggler, all you need is a person who can juggle fairly well (you can start with asking friends) and a few oranges! However, if you want to do one of those shoot-the-balloons stall, you need to rent a gun and a lot of balloons, plus some prizes for winners. Think of feasible options that can also be a lot of fun!

Cleveland Public Art could be a good resourse to help contact some of those stilt walkers who perfor at the SPARX events.

That's a great way to get families back downtown.  Bring them down maybe they'll spend some cash and see what else the city has to offer.  Great idea guys.

That is a very interesting concept. Close enough and small enough to spend a day in downtown Cleveland. Great idea for families and others; maybe this would draw people to other downtown locations as well. Great Idea!

excellent idea....way to bring business to a dying downtown.

This idea is so good.  I will definetely go to the bridge if this idea is chosen

Great idea JP and Jeff. Thumbs up idea.
