im a little unclear on what this is showing... is this proposing having some type of street car with dining in it or dining in the area where street cars were?

I like the concept. A few years ago, I worked on a project to restore a historic streetcar running across the bridge, down the viaduct, down Vermont Street, 29th and to the West side market... The project did not go anywhere but I always thought it would be a good idea to connect the rapid with the west bank... A variation on this idea and others, would fuse space with the streetcar by providing spaces for art walks, best of food events, convention space and etc... Perhaps it would need to be glassed in... What a draw... Thanks for taking the time to think about this amazing space.

Although limited in scope, this is a great idea which builds upon the history and purpose of the bridge, bringing it back to life in some respects. But I also see it as more of an amenity that could be utilized in conjunction with one of the broader concepts such as "Waterfall", "Lighting Ideas" and "Floating Tea Lights" that tranform the structure and space around it.
