In the middle of the bridge area, an opening in the rails that are usually at eye level on either side allows for views down to the river below. The concrete bays of the structural elements create a condition where it is impossible to see into the adjoining bays. I’d like to take advantage of this condition to feature a series of painted plywood pieces that tell a story as one walks along this special part of the bridge. For an example, I featured the classic story of Romeo and Juliet in 6 panels.

Hey Everybody!

There is a change to this. It turns out that there is a group actually putting on the play Romeo and Juliet on Saturday night, and another putting on La Boheme the other night. I didn't know this, I just picked R&J because everyone knows the story. Anyway, I've contacted them in the hopes that I could set up a series of panels giving the basic overview of the plot (much like the graphic above) only along a path. Since the bridge is so long, I think that it could be pretty cool. We'll see what they say, but I have my hopes...

what if you did some sort of measured tromp-l'oeil scenes (not plot based, just some fun things)...so that everything comes together if you stand in the right spot.  They may have more "hang" time than storyboards?
