This man made space seems to be breaking down and transforming into a cave with natural stalactites and stalagmites found throughout the site.

Hammocks and cradle chairs could be suspended from the concrete arches along the pedestrian walkway. Multiple cradle chairs could be grouped to create a social lounge environment or a single hammock could provide a solitary space within the large expanse of the bridge.

The cave lounge mimics the transformation currently taking place from bridge to cave. Stalactites and stalagmites can already be seen forming in the depths of the vacant trolley line. The soft material for seating contrasts the cold, concrete environment...
